News: Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre moves to Imperial Hammersmith
The Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre, which opened in August 2006, is moving to a new building on the Imperial Hammersmith site. The move will take place in the Spring of 2009, and is a reflection of the exciting developments in ovarian cancer research being undertaken by Professor Hani Gabra, Director of the Centre, and his team. This new laboratory will be home to the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre for the next few years, until a brand new facility at Imperial Hammersmith, the Women's Cancer Centre, is built.
Peter Reynolds, Ovarian Cancer Action's new Chief Executive, comments: "This is an exciting time for the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre, as it moves into a new phase of its development. We are asking all of our supporters to redouble their fundraising efforts, without which the progress at the Centre would not be possible".
