Awareness Day at Portcullis House, Westminster
Over 50 MPs attended an awareness day at Portcullis House, Westminster in February to learn more about the disease and meet survivors. It was an opportunity for survivors to inform their MPs about their treatment and care, as well as alerting them to the symptoms of the disease.
Rosemary Petronis from Southend said "I was very pleased my MP James Duddridge visited our stand and learnt that when caught early treatment for ovarian cancer is very successful."
