News: Thank you M&S! 3 year partnership raises over half a million pounds
We are delighted to announce that over £500,000 has been received
as a result of our 3-year partnership with Marks & Spencer plc. The funds were raised through the sale of pin badges during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
This money will be used to fund research into the causes, detection and treatment of ovarian cancer, and represents a significant commitment to the first phase of research at the new Ovarian Cancer Action Research Unit.
M&S's contribution will be formally recognised with a plaque at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Unit. We would like to thank everyone who went into their local branches, bought pin badges and then decided to get involved with us. Special thanks also to CancerBackup for their helpline support during these campaigns.
